Donald F surveyed the scene after workers tore down what was left of 279 North St., which partially collapsed this past weekend.
NorthEndWaterfront.com reports city inspectors determined the building was beyond saving and was a menace to surrounding structures.
Watching a building being demolished in the North End today. It was under renovation and had partially collapsed over the weekend.
Thanks to @NorthEndBoston for posting about the demo - I got there just in time to take these pictures!

It looked OK
Streetview from last October. Other than the horde of zombies walking by looking for "brains" it looked very much like every other building in the area.

Too bad we can't do this with our T stations
Some stations I will not walk into. They are simply not safe. There's probably a back closet somewhere with paper files on each station. We won't know about it until there's another tragedy
What street....
... was this on?
