Dedham train bridge turns into Prime location for a storrowing

Dedham Police posted this photo of a freshly storrowed Amazon truck on East Street this evening.

Didn't the state just finish spending a fair amount of money to both raise the bridge *and* lower the road under it?

This one's a fair bit higher than the Islington one, which they've just raised, so look for this one to get storrowed from now on.

A couple years ago I was helping a friend on East Street move. It was our last trip of the day in the rental truck when we, without thinking, went down THAT WAY on East St.
Just as we went under the bridge the entire truck shuddered and made a loud *bang!* We both realized what we had done!
Thankfully Dedham had just repaved East St, stopping midway between the rotary and the bridge. The paving transition was a good inch of sharp difference, and that was what we had hit, not the bridge which we fit safely under.
We both commented fresh underwear might be called for after that near misadventure.
