The other day, Samuel Watson was kayaking on the Charles River, about a half mile down from Millennium Park in West Roxbury, when he spotted this coyote.

Wrong canine
It's been many decades since I read Jack London novels (which I loved at the time), but if I remember correctly, The Call of the Wild was about a dog, or a wolf, or a wolfdog, or something like that. I don't remember London ever writing about coyotes, so your headline is a zoological muddle. Woof!
