The Dorchester Reporter reports the city has started replicating its Nubian Square vacant-lot process along Blue Hill Avenue, awarding eight lots between Morton Street and Franklin Field to developers who proposed affordable housing and retail space. The city has 22 more empty lots along the avenue it plans to designate for development.
