Police were heroes and the public loved them. Today they have to wear body armor and erect fences and barricades to protect themselves from the people they were sworn to protect.

Nah, 8 years ago you were just a bit more ...
... naive than you are now.
People can do good things and
People can do good things and bad things. This isn’t that hard.
Like when
Like when they drove tanks through Somerville and marched families with children out of their homes at gunpoint trying to get the guy only to miss him completely and find out hours later that they were in the wrong neighborhood? That kind of heroes?
You Mean Watertown?

It was Roxbury, too
The '89 BS was just a large media-covered item for something that happens all the time on a smaller scale here.
Buddy, it literally just came
Buddy, it literally just came out that BPD has been protecting a known pedophile in their ranks.
So if the cops are scared...
How am I supposed to feel?
Who said anything about being
Who said anything about being scared? Being prepared is a virtue.
Any update on the cop who
Any update on the cop who bragged about intentionally driving into protesters?
Or the one...
...who looted himself a nice new tie?
