Man shot on Roxbury's Fort Hill in 2013 dies; death ruled a homicide

Boston Police report they have opened a murder investigation into the death of Carlos DelRosario, who was shot at 55 Beech Glen St. on April 29, 2013.

The victim survived the initial shooting but suffered disabilities as a result of his injuries. On September 16, 2021, Mr. DelRosario was found unresponsive and pronounced deceased. An autopsy was completed on September 17, 2021, and the cause of death was determined to be complications due to his injuries suffered during the shooting. As a result of this finding, this incident has been ruled a Homicide.

DelRosario, 28, was one of two men shot around 9 o'clock that night; the other man survived.
