North End restaurant guy shows off negative Covid-19 results after returning from maskless party at crowded Florida cigar bar

Christian Silvestri of Rabia's on Salem Street posted a photo of the negative Covid-19 test result he got today, a week after he celebrated New Year's Eve at a cigar bar in Naples, FL, where masks were not required and he spent part of the time yelling insults at Charlie Baker and Marty Walsh.

Silvestri writes he only got the test to prove to know-it-alls like Universal Hub that he didn't bring the virus back with him (oh, he also has a thought about yesterday's news out of Washington).

Why even bother posting anything about this chooch?

If we remain silent when ignorance speaks, we allow ignorance to prevail.

Are spewing stupidity, lies, hate, bigotry, and garbage to the point where I wondered if they are all trolls and bots. But I was too disgusted to look them up.

You don't win any prize for doing something incredibly stupid and getting away with it (this time).

1)It has an up to 30% "miss" rate

2)NYE was 7-8 days ago and depending on timing the test could mean nothing, especially if he got sick right away and then quickly recovered.

It also wouldn't surprise me if the genius actually already got sick with a mild case.

I love when people make it easy for me to vote with my money. I keep a running list of restaurants that show up in the news for health code violations and clear lack of concern for thier customers safety. Added this one to the list and will be sure when travel resumes and the many many people I work with who come into Boston for business ask for North End recommendations as they always do I will steer them far away from Rabias into those restaurants who care about thier community.

But then to be fair I used to live right next to this place and it's pretty mediocre to being with so I doubt I'd have recommended it to begin with. I remember them having tacky fake grapes as decore which were perpetually covered in dust. Clearly health and cleanliness have never been a priority.

Good for him. Still, given his clear disregard for his own health I can only imagine
how little attention he pays to anyone else's and I will make sure to stay away from
his establishment next time I'm down there pondering dinner.

Probably worth asking when his last reckless behavior in Florida was, because I'd be more interested in seeing the negative test result from a sample analyzed by PCR (not a rapid test like he is showing) taken 14 days after that date. It looks like he just returned from FL yesterday and had the rapid test upon his arrival.

Getting a COVID test instead of wearing a mask is like getting a pregnancy test instead of wearing a condom.

85% chance he gets covid at some point anyway, because reckless idiots gonna reckless idiot.

15% chance he writes one of those "oh boy did I make a mistake" posts (there should be a name for those)

100% chance I will never set foot in that guy's restaurant.

What kind of drugs is he on? Such a tough guy with nothing to prove. We do need a follow up to today’s Trump prophecy. If you creep his fb page it is guaranteed to make you possibly laugh in disbelief that tough tools like this exist. Then you will feel slimy for peeking at his wholesome fake world, disgusted. He needs to stop pretending to represent Boston. All set buddy.
