Ragey Rte. 9 motorist serves up some caffeinated justice on the highway; police tell him to leave traffic enforcement to them

The Swellesley Report reports a guy faces a charge of A&B, a felony, for throwing a cup of hot coffee at another Rte. 9 driver, who bore the full brunt of the liquid because his window was down. Mr. Coffee told police the other driver had swerved in front of him as, and, this is what really steamed him, he was texting, so the obscene gestures he made weren't enough and he had to bring the point home with a cup of joe. Police advised him that was a poor decision.

Once again the "BUT HE MADE ME DO IT" bullshit.

Nobody made him do anything. Go directly to jail, asshole - maybe you will grow up.

It was ever thus with blame-evading men, from the first Adam to this Route 9 weasel.

That texting while driving impairs you as severely as drunk driving. It’s a serious offense. Maybe he shouldn’t have reacted the way he did, but I’m guessing it was more out of anger and a sense of public safety.

Let’s say that if public safety was really on the guy’s mind, this was a poor way of enforcing it.

leads him to throw hot coffee through the window of a moving vehicle, at driver of said vehicle, then some adjustments are in order.

The guy who was texting and driving, on the other hand, should be compensated for his pain and suffering. Then he should be shot.

He leaves the money to the coffee hurler in his will.

Man I was on 95 south in Wakefield yesterday and some dumb person (from the above town) was texting and driving 5 miles below the speed limit in the middle lane. WTF people?!

Nice excuse making for violent actions likely to cause a safety problem, dude.

See also "but HE MADE ME DO IT" or "I couldn't help myself".

"Acting out of anger" is not a defense for "acting like a violent stupid asshole". That's some ripe privilege right there.

Logic is free - try it.

Why would you defend a driver texting on the road by policing other comments with snarky justifications?
Gatekeeping is also free, but not always welcome.

Thanks for the excuses.

Since studies have shown that antimasker jackasses and antivaccination idiots also cause serious hazards to public health, now I feel perfectly justified in punching their stupid faces.

Because I'M ANGRY!

You sound like a gay basher who thinks it is okay to kill gay people because of gay panic.
