A grand time was had by all. The weather surely helped. Now come out for Dot Day parade tomorrow, St Patrick’s day and gay pride, but way better!!

That Beaumont Street house back in the public eye.

In the late 70's there was a family there with four teenage / early 20's daughters.

They would set up the living room straight out of a Hammer Films movie with candles and one of the daughters laid out in Victorian style clothing. The other sisters would look melancholy and the father would hand out candy in a very dour manner.

It was scary and cool as hell for my little kid brain. Beat the crap out of my somewhat flammable Battlestar Galactica get up in terms of going all the way for Halloween any day.

This was such a fun family-friendly event. Ran into some old neighbors I hadn’t seen since before the pandemic. Perfect weather, great vibes, and variety of bands!

Dorchester is the best.
