Transit Police report they are hunting a man who provides the latest proof that the people who clean subway stations should always wear gloves.
Police say that around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a woman standing on the outbound Orange Line platform at Haymarket spotted a man busy committing "a lewd act," one he brought to completion all over the platform floor.
That's good enough for a charge of open and gross lewdness, once police catch him. If he looks familiar, ask him if he's washed thoroughly with soap and water before shaking hands, then contact detectives at 617-222-1050, or send an anonymous text tip to 873873.
