Proof the Cape Cod Tunnel was designed to carry the Red Line past the canal

A roving UHub photographer down the Cape spotted an abandoned Red Line train near the Coast Guard part of Joint Base Cape Cod.

The cars were donated to Otis AFB for training in 2021. No idea as to exactly what sort of training.

I had to take a training by a trainer in order to be qualified as a trainer, it felt like being a tow truck towed by a tow truck.

Subterranean air warfare
They were used as targets for subterranean air warfare exercises carried out by the Air Force in the Cape Cod Tunnel. It was actually a huge pileup of F16's that caused the closure of the tunnel. I thought everyone knew this.
