Man arrested at Southampton Street shelter on charges he stabbed senior woman in Roxbury last week

Boston Police report arresting Ranlee Flores, 34, of Roxbury on charges he stabbed a 68-year-old woman after she resisted her efforts to rob him as she was unloading her SUV on Deckard Street last Thursday.

Police say the woman managed to punch and kick Flores before he ran off.

When they found him at the Southampton Street shelter today, officers charged him with, among other things, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon on a person over 65, police say, adding he also has outstanding warrants for unlawful possession of a firearm, lewd and lascivious behavior and destruction of personal property.
