Baker to retire from City Council
By adamg on Thu, 04/20/2023 - 10:38am
The Dorchester Reporter gets the scoop: Frank Baker will not run for re-election this fall for the mostly Dorchester District 3 city-council seat he's held since 2012.
Baker was noted as a tenacious fighter for the causes he believed in, even to the point of trying to spark a religious war.
Already running for the seat: Joel Richards, a BPS teacher from Fields Corner.

Good riddance
Good riddance to a man who would have been a republican if he lived in just about any other city in the country.
