Berry-binging birds

Mary Ellen's been watching the birds chow down on berries along the Charles River in West Roxbury the past couple of days, such as this catbird.

Are those serviceberries?
Are those serviceberries? They’re everywhere, and edible by humans, and I never knew about them until recently.
Catbird
The catbird certainly seems to be in an enviable position. (Whereas I envy Maryellen her skill in photographing both birds with berry-filled beaks).
