Somebody's added the Cop Slide to Google Maps as a local attraction.

That's hilarious! In the midst of truly paralyzing bad news, this is the gift that keeps on giving! All the efforts by BPD to forge relationships and trust with the community don't come close.

In defense of the designer/builder of the slide, the signage around the entire playground, and that slide in particular, is clear that it's for use only by kids.

Some folks on Reddit are complaining that the city blocks it off at night so that drunks don't kill themselves on it now that it has gotten famous.

I guess its a Cop Slide and not a Darwin Slide?

How early does it close? I want to check out this new super slide myself but I'd hate to take a kids turn away from them.
