Transit Police report arresting a Belmont man they say bit an officer hard enough to break his skin in a failed attempt to escape arrest on charges he was harassing and exposing himself to other passengers at the Harvard Square Red Line station around 3 p.m. yesterday.
Police were able to place Benjamin Bin Zhao, 39, in a cruiser for a ride down to Transit Police headquarters on Southampton Street for booking on charges of lewd, wanton and lascivious behavior and assault and battery on a police officer.
The officer was transported to a local hospital for observation, police say, adding the wound was not serious.
Innocent, etc.

Can sex offenders be barred from the T?
Because they seem to be drawn to the T like moths to a flame.

I don't think anyone can be barred from using public transportation.
Brings to mind that guy who had a restraining order to stay away from the Massachusetts State House but who was allowed to ride the T branch that goes underneath it or maybe it was just close enough to violate the restraining order.
Does any branch of the T actually go underneath the State House?
The Red Line, maybe.
But someone would have to look on a map.
Which two and where?
Which two and where?
