Kelly's at Logn Airport proclaims itself as being from Boston's Revere Beach

Robert Alvarez was a bit perplexed by this wall at the Kelly's in Terminal B at Logan: "Congratulations to Revere on being annexed by Boston?"

Or maybe they're making a statement, that East Boston is really Boston's Revere Beach? But if so, maybe Sullivan's could start advertising itself as being from Revere's Castle Island?

Obviously, they meant to say "Boston's Revered Beach but someone got lazy.

While Revere is not part of Boston by any stretch (it's over the line from East Boston and an independent city), it is one of three towns/cities that are part of Suffolk County outside of Boston proper (the other two being Chelsea and Winthrop). Perhaps a tap on the shoulder and a whisper to the Kelly's folks would clear that error up.

I worked at the Kelly's on Rt 1 in Saugus in high school and they tried very hard to connect their shops to the Revere Beach motif, at Saugus it was the carisol horses from the old carnival days. So I imagine that was their goal but yeah this is just really awkward phrasing.

Also, are people seriously eating Kelly's at the airport? I never really thought of them as a fast sip and gulp type of place.

The only Friendly's in Boston is in Terminal A.

Kelly's is in Terminal B.

Wahlburger, Santarpio's, and Legal Seafood are in Terminal C.

Poor Terminal E only has Legal.

Logan has some of the worst food options.

Sorry folks, people don't want to sit down and eat at the airport. Yet that's half these eateries.

Also gotta love how they yanked McD, BK, and fast food and just replaced them with local fast food options. So much for 'healthier selection" at the airport.

Just bring back BK and McDonalds. It worked better.

PS - And that friendly's.. I've tried three times to eat there and each time, similar to the former Friendly's around the area, the service sucked, the food was cold, and wasn't that great. Really surprised this location has not closed like the rest of them

I mean, people don't go to the airport for Kelly's, but if you are there and want something to eat before boarding time, Kelly's is a decent option. It's the same good sandwich, just at a less interesting location.
