There are some flowering trees at Jamaica Pond right now (OK, this is a closeup shot, these flowers are much smaller in real life).

I suck at tree identification. It was on the Pinebank side of the pond, closer to the Jamaicaway than to Perkins Street.

I'm not 100% on it but I believe it's some crab apple or other apple variety. I don't know the exact genus and species but when I'm over at the arboretum, I know they're are some of them.

They're blooming now in pink, white, and red. Gorgeous trees, and their fruit feeds birds.
