Dead Track

Nothing passenger related on this track. Maybe a rogue freight but I do not think there is anything that goes there.

Based on the TV aerial shots I'd expect this bridge to be demo'd and the road re-opened, and no replacement.

CertainTeed (nee Bird) in East Walpole uses that track

or at least they used it a lot a few years ago, less sure about right now. I doubt that they or CSX would appreciate just tearing the bridge down.

leads to the old Bird and Son now Certainteed roofing shingle factory in East Walpole. It's been there forever. That bridge is wicked short and well signed...
