Banker & Tradesman reports that the Fallon Co. has gotten the $215-million loan it needs to start construction of a 14-story, 130-unit luxury residential building as the final tooth in its Fan Pier redevelopment.

The building, once planned as a combination hotel and residential building will sit atop a three-story garage finished in 2016.

The Boston Civic Design Commission gave its final approval to the design in May, 2023.

Maybe design with a second floor that will become the first floor when the tides rise to the occasion?

Thinking the Old Town Seattle solution to raising the grade. If they could do it 125 years ago, it can be done in 25 years.

Does anyone have a breakdown of the kinds and numbers of people who actually live in the Seaport District?

I'm convinced it's mostly empty apartments and condos.

It was almost completely full at $5k/mo for a 1 bed 850sqft. I loved living there.
