We wish we were just funning: South Station trains barely running

There's a switch near South Station that's decided to take the day off, so delays are starting to pile up on commuter-rail lines into and out of the station.

At 9:42 a.m., rider Deanna Borrelli fumed:

You don’t need a survey to know reliability is most important. As we sit here outside SS for 30+ minutes because of a “switch issue.” Ticket refunds should be available in situations like this. Absolutely absurd.
