Our typically blue ones are shades of light blue to lilac, and our fuschia ones are showing some gorgeous purples too this year (see photo). Just beautiful.

The name of the flower itself means "water vessel" - but that's more the shape of the flowers.

Mine has so many blue blooms this year.. I've never seen it pop as much as it has this year.
