The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 26 Monponset St. around 4:15 p.m. for what turned into a two-alarm fire.
The department reports one firefighter was injured. Two people were displaced.
The department reports heavy smoke was already coming from the fire on both the first and second floor when firefighters arrived.
Damage was estimated at $400,000.
