File under: Alrighty, then. Whoever operates The Wave, an unlicensed oldies station in Boxford, reports:
[O]ver the weekend, while I was not at home my coax was cut, and in the process my transmitter was damaged.
The coax has been replaced and I am operating at greatly reduced power. I have reported it to the local police we are looking for information leading to the arrest of whomever did this.

I bet the FCC would love to help him out
Brilliant. This is like one of those apocryphal stories where a real genius of a guy goes to the police after he gets ripped off on a pot deal, only it's really happening!
Is it apocryphal if the teller is a real live honest person?
Because my cousin once reported her purse stolen from underneath her stool at a bar. She did not report her crack rock missing specifically, though that would make a better story. However, when they asked her to identify the bag and dumped the contents on the counter, she acknowledged all of the contents as being hers, including aforementioned crack rock.
