T employee unaware of T photography policy at Back Bay station

Ben Ostrander tweets that around 7:40 this morning:
Saw a tourist with a crappy point & shoot stopped by T employee at Back Bay & told she couldn't do that.
As Ostrander notes, that fall under the category of "Not True." The MBTA's posted photo policy says non-commercial photography is OK - the main limitations are you can't use a flash or tripod and you have to provide ID if requested by a T cop or official.

You would think by now that everyone of those employees would have been made aware by now by just us showing the new updates...
While traveling to Europe
While traveling to Europe this summer, I stopped to take a picture in Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport. I was pulled aside by a security guard and, politely, told that photos were not allowed. I was just happy that he didn't take away my new camera or send me to Guantanamo. Seeing this made me wonder if he was enforcing a real policy. Apparently, he was:
Filming, photography and recording are not permitted:
* Of BAA security screening controls (including boarding card inspection points)
Ta.

Was the response I got when I challenged a a guard at JFK. I had been snapping pictures outside the terminal, when he told me pictures weren't allowed. I told him that this was public property and that was in public view, and he had no right to be telling me what to do with my camera. He walked away.

I was almost thrown out of
I was almost thrown out of Park St Station once for taking a photo with my little P&S camera. The employees either don't know the policy or enjoy the power trip of telling people what not to do (something I've noticed is a quality a few of them have).
