1) a MORON driving an SUV can do a lot more damage than a MORON driving a subcompact
2) SUV drivers often manuever as if their shit doesn't stink. They know their vehicle is bigger so they drive more aggressively.

To be fair, Comm Ave in that area is a complicated four-lane divided road with two one-lane access roads plus the T running through the middle of it. A non-native driver could easily get confused in the dark. Bird's-eye view

The line of cars parked in the opposite direction and seeing the backs of street signs isn't a clue that you're going the wrong (expletive) way? This driver should have their license suspended for a month on that basis alone.
