City that built public market nearly two centuries ago could finally get another one

The Globe reports Gov. Patrick has pledged $10 million for a year-round public market off the Greenway near the existing Haymarket - and not far from from Quincy Market, originally built as a public market.

It's proposed by the Boston Public Market Association.
