The Phoenix awakens to inform us that Bill O'Reilly, yes, that Bill O'Reilly, once wrote for the Phoenix and the Real Paper, and that he interviewed both Linda Lovelace and her director in "Deep Throat."
Fixed. What messed me up was the article was mostly about Miss Jones, whose director had also done Deepthroat. What's the word for a porno typo? Porno-o?
So on this topic (tangentially), anyone know where one (I) could get a copy of Devil in Miss Jones? I can honestly say I'm not interested in its more salacious aspects, as I'm a proudly homosexual male, but I love the Sartre-esque quality and have heard it's a pretty decent movie. But alas, I've not ever seen it and feel like a piece of my life will be missing until I do.

This Is Getting National Play
This article is getting national play on mediamatters.org. Just another excuse for Billo to call MMFA "vile".
Lovelace wasn't in The Devil in Miss Jones.
She was in Deepthroat. For Christ's sake, how can you get that wrong - like saying Hepburn was in Casablanca.
Oh, I can get anything wrong

No reason anyone should know this
but Linda Lovelace wasn't in "The Devil in Miss Jones" - that was Georgina Spelvin. Lovelace was in, of course, "Deep Throat."
Or, uh, that's, um, what some guy told me down by the loading dock.
o'reilly
I'm old enough to remember when he was a regular guy and not such a tool.

A lesbian Women's Studies
A lesbian Women's Studies type I know watched that a few years ago. I thought she borrowed it from Grand Openings in Brookline.
Looks like you can get it on eBay if you log in and enable viewing of "Adults Only" listings.
It's more of a film buff or historical curiosity than anything else.
