The news that the long arm of the law grabbed some ass the other night on Commercial Street (scroll down a bit when you click) has Amy Derjue wondering if Boston Police will now enforce fashion laws against too short tunics on Lansdowne Street and at the Alley:

Ah, Boundaries.
How nice to know that it is still illegal to show off one's buttocks in the street. I am wondering what was going on in Ms. Flasher-Thrasher's head. Did she think she was a monkey? Is this a new way of saying "Wanna date?" Is it the New Wink? Is this a fad endorsed by MTV? Will one day even very elderly old ladies wear short-shorts and/or expose their derriers to view to show how with it they are?
