Taking, not giving

In the some up/some down category, I was at a Shaw's in HP this morning. I used my Citizens debit card for groceries, which worked just fine. After checking out, I realized I'd like some cash for Haymarket tomorrow morning. The Citizens ATM in the store read it was temporarily down.
Grunt. They will give my money to the grocer, but not to me.
Could have gotten back in the express line...

...and bought a pack of gum or something, and get your cash.
i've done that a few times, when forgetting-to-get-cash that is---I've never had an account with a bank that had ATMs inside the store.
The automated phone system appears to be working...

...as of right now, so you can at least check your transactions and deposits. Online still down. Don't know about the ATMs, getting ready to hit the Southie branch on Broadway -- wonder if the lines will be massive!

That I switched to my local bank. Reasons one and two were when I was charged to look at my account balance and another time when I charged the $5 foreign ATM fees when all the Citizens ATMs were down in Harvard Sq a few months ago and I used another bank. Called Citizens right after and told me no fee, then a week later, the $5 charge.
F them.

"There will be a bank immediately following this one. Please stand away from the closing ATMs."
