Evan was first to notice this horrifying sight on Google Maps - on the view below, click on the NW arrow to watch the vortex descend and then click on it again to watch the area irradiated with evil pink rays:

My favorite part of Google Maps are the half-cars on the sides of streets. Since their special 360 degree camera thingos only got certain angles of each vehicle as they drove by, some cars look very two-dimensional and strange when you rotate around them.
