One less reason to listen to public radio. At this rate no programing will be left except news and talk, which isn't anything special!

First off, Public Radio Kitchen = talk, so -1 for comprehension failure. Second, public (aka non-commercial) radio in the Boston metro with mostly music programming still includes WCRB, WERS, WHRB, WMBR, WMFO, WMLN, WMWM, WTBU, WUMB, and WZBC. (apologies to any I missed, I know there's some neighborhood/low power stations I'm not immediately familiar with).
So anon, I think if you get off your lazily cynical posterior and turn that dial you'll find your pwecious widdle ears are still safe from da big bad comercials and da weally hawd thinking stuffs.

Great station list and I listen to a bunch of these, but most are college stations. It's crazy that local programming is now the minority on the dial.

What programming did the PRK blog produce? I think I heard a couple of their regular contributors on On Point a few weeks ago, but that's about the only time I can recall them providing on-air content.

Is this the same thing as the public radio test kitchen? I got a pretty good recipe for scrambled eggs from that show.
