Foreign visitors have passports stolen at Wonderland; seek return, no questions asked
A doctor from Dubai who got on a Blue Line train at Wonderland shortly before 5 p.m. yesterday with his family says whoever took the black bag he left on a bench can keep the $3,500 in cash and the international airline tickets that were in it - he just wants their passports back.
The bag contained the passports for Dr. Zeeshan Khan, his wife Yasmin, son Raiyan and daughter Sayeema.
The MBTA says an inspector managed to board the train and asked if anybody had seen the bag or who took it. One person said "he believes a male took the bag and got off at Beachmont station," according to a Transit Police report.
However, surveillance video did not show anybody at Beachmont, Revere Beach or Wonderland with a bag matching Khan's.
Anybody with information can contact Transit Police at 617-222-1050 or anonymously by texting 873873.

Seven billion. Time to weed out some of the riff-raff.
And when I cross against a signal, I don't do it to the impediment of a car's legal progress. Mix in an understanding of legitimate crime vs. victimless crime.
"Whomever" robbed this guy?
Same punishment should apply to your English teacher.
Yes
If they didn't have an international smartphone, their boarding passes would be printed on paper, either from the airport or an at home printer.
So what? With an e-ticket,
So what? With an e-ticket, you can always reprint a boarding pass, including when you show up at the airport.
depends on where you're traveling
There are some countries that still want to see a paper ticket as proof of onward travel. I think some in Latin America and Southeast Asia? I can't recall which ones though. In that case the airline will issue you a paper ticket at no extra charge, normally airlines these days charge extra for paper tickets.
Paper Tickets
Even as recently as five years ago I bought an American Airlines e-ticket through an online travel agent that, for some reason, was converted to a paper ticket and mailed me. It was very strange.
Of course the ticket managed to get lost in the mail (or stolen) and I had to pay $100 to get it replaced. Yeah, that was the last time I ever used one of those services.
Embarrassing
I'm sorry that happened to them. Just embarrassing.
I hope they get at least their passports back.
