WCVB reports video from Lord & Taylor across from the second bomb blast has led investigators to a suspect, and that an arrest could be imminent.
UPDATE: The FBI released a statement around 3 p.m.:
Contrary to widespread reporting, no arrest has been made in connection with the Boston Marathon attack. Over the past day and a half, there have been a number of press reports based on information from unofficial sources that has been inaccurate. Since these stories often have unintended consequences, we ask the media, particularly at this early stage of the investigation, to exercise caution and attempt to verify information through appropriate official channels before reporting.

Sounds like they have a person of interest and a face, but not even a "suspect", which make sense. Hope to be pleasantly wrong. But I don't have much trust or faith in the MSM. WBUR was reporting on what others were reporting on, but cautioning they couldn't confirm it yet.

who profit from "leaked" information from "sources" that are too cowardly to reveal their names (I for one am fed up with reading "who spoke on condition of anonymity because their dog ate the press release, etc.). Especially when that information turns out to be somewhere between inaccurate and an outright lie, and only contributes to the general panic and insecurity.
It's called "insider trading" folks, and AFAIK it's still illegal in every other business and industry. And if the practice is found out, both the people who provided the information AND the people who benefit from the information are punished. Perhaps if we applied this very logical standard to the media as well, we would have far more accurate and unbiased reporting.
Then again, as Suzie Derkins said, "and while I'm dreaming, I'd also like a pony."

Sort of does. It very easily could be domestic inspired by Islamic, but the date and the collective shoulder shrug by the assholes that usually fall all over themselves to claim resposability (even in failed attacks) points to something home grown and not connected to them directly.
We got our fair share of left loons around MA too, but they've been typically pacifist the past 30-40 years... Who knows, maybe someone with more issues than regular joined the La Rouches.
