Yikes...seventy-five dollars for a BSO concert during their vacation period! Did you know that on Thursday nights you can get in for NINE dollars if you buy a rush seat? And for a program like that, it's easy to move.

She's so right about the coughing; I don't think people understand that hacking up a lung during a performance is not only distracting to one's fellow audience members; it's disrespectful to the folks on stage. Yes, we can hear you. (No, I'm not with the BSO, but I've played in orchestras for many years.)
If you're that sick, please stay home. Please.
Also, if you're unwrapping a crinkly cough drop, do so quickly. One brief noise is preferable to twenty-seven-thousand little "crinks", which we can also hear.
And if you absolutely have to go to sleep? Do what you can to avoid snoring. Especially if you're in the front row. Because the first violins will talk about you for YEARS. (True story.)

Oh well, people are people... circumstances like these can't be avoided. You just can't control someone. We are all unique and molded in different ways. But yeah, telling the person in a nice way is ok and I think she's mature enought to be considerate with others... if still she kept on doing, well see if you can transfer to another seat if not, maybe kick her off (joke0... hehehe....
