Boston 24 is a map and database of 24-hour places in the Boston area. Very beta, so please let me know about anything that doesn't work. And there are only a few places listed, so feel free to add more!
Geek alert: It uses the Google Maps API and ooh-so-sexy XML files to generate the map.

So you've linked /dev/null into Google Maps, then?

Ayup, we're no New York or Montreal (forget the 24-hour bagel places, I just love the idea of 24-hour shwarma joints!), but there's one or two places out there. I think.

mmm...H&H...
When I lived in the west 80s, I can't TELL you how many times I suddenly needed bagels at 3am...

Like, there's 24-hour automated mailing-stuff-machine at the Brighton post office.
There are 24-hour Kinko's, which are actually a rare find around here. Grr.
There are a couple of 24-hour grocery stores.

Yeah, I need to add printing places, post offices (isn't the post office next to South Station open all night?), supermarkets (hmm, which ones?) and, of course, the White Hen Pantries and Store 24s, or rather, the Store 24s that are, in fact, open 24 hours (seems like most of them, especially in the burbs, are more like Store 18s).
Other!

You could open up an "other" category for now.
The South Station one is, and they'll postmark stuff until 11:59. Very handy sometimes when you need to get a manuscript or application or something postmarked. I think the automated postal things are worth mentioning too, because you can do most postal transactions there.

Post offices, convenience stores, etc.

I thought the South Station post office was now open only until midnight and not afterwards.
The "Bread & Butter Konvenience [sic]" store at Mass. Ave. and Day Street in North Cambridge is open 24 hours. It's not as konvenient as the White Hen Pantry it replaced, since it doesn't make sandwiches to order, but it's still useful.
A 24-hour White Hen still exists in Porter Square, across Mass. Ave. from the big shopping center (and its 24-hour CVS).
7-Eleven has locations on Tremont and Washington Streets downtown, and Charles Street on Beacon Hill. I think all of these are open 24 hours.
Supermarkets

I heard a rumor that there's a Star Market in Brookline - I think the one near Brookline Ave. and Simmons/Emmanuel - that's 24x7.
I'm not aware of any other supermarkets that are true 24 hours; they're usually only Monday morning through Saturday night.

I get this JavaScript popup. What does it mean?
The Google Maps API key used on this web site was registered for a different web site. You can generate a new key for this web site at http://www.google.com/apis/maps/.

Something's screwy. You're the second person to report this. Amazingly, I don't get that error. Sigh, now to check into it.

Massachusetts has many 24-hour CVS stores. The two most useful to me are in Porter Square and Harvard Square, but there are plenty of others. Use this [url=http://cvsstore.geoserve.com/scripts/esrimap.dll?N... Locator[/url] to find others. Check off the "24-hour stores" button.
Some Walgreen's and Brooks Pharmacy stores are also open 24 hours, but I know less about them.

There's a 24- Econo-Gas and convenience store at Comm. Ave and Melvin Street in Brighton.
And a 7-11 at Washington and Comm. Ave.
