Police: Roxbury man duct-taped in home invasion
Boston Police report they are investigating a home invasion around 9 p.m., Sunday at 51 Fenwood Rd.
According to police, a 29-year-old resident was watching TV when he heard a knock at the door. Believing he knew the guy he saw through his peephole, he opened the door. The 5'6", 150-lb. black man walked in:
Once the door was open two additional unknown males entered the victim's residence. Suspect #2 was described as 5'6", 160, brown skinned black male, with curly hair, wearing a navy shirt and blue jeans. Suspect # 3 was described as light skinned black male, 5'09", 175, wearing a light colored shirt, shorts, and a navy blue hat. The victim reported the suspects demanded his firearm and money from his safe, before duck taping and placing him in the bathroom. The suspects took the victim’s black Walter P99C 9mm firearm, possibly a box of ammunition and an IPhone, and fled in an unknown direction.

Damn a 506inch tall intruder, how did he get in the door??? =)
Fixed
Yeah, he wasn't quite that tall.
Excellent: A Roxbury address in the LMA
Yes. This is Roxbury. All of the LMA, in fact.
Gun
This guy had a 9mm P99c ( and by the way it's a Walther not Walter) and didn't get off one shot?
Maybe he had it locked up
Maybe he had it locked up like, the many responsible gun owners out there would. As the report says, he thought he knew the guy; I generally don't arm myself when answering the door, especially when the face looks familiar.
I hate being duck taped, the
I hate being duck taped, the quacking drives me crazy.
maybe it was DuckTape brand duct tape
There actually is a brand of duct tape called Duck Tape.
sorry for the wayward comma.
sorry for the wayward comma.
The lesson here
is don't lock your gun where you cannot access it. Keep it tucked in your budge. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
either that, or
the lesson could just be "don't open the door."
Depends on what you see in the mirror

Self defense isn't color blind.
Guns that are loaded and available also don't care if a toddler is pulling the trigger and the other end is pointed at a child.
