Another suspicious fire in Somerville

A porch fire around 9 a.m. at 18 Belmont St., according to Christopher Welch. Firefighters were able to quickly bring it under control.

(Posting anonymously because I live near several of the recent fires)

For those who don't know this area of Somerville well, 18 Belmont is about 100' as the crow flies from the Somerville Fire Dept. station at the corner of Somerville Ave and Lowell St.

I should probably make sure my renter's insurance is up to snuff.

I live right in the epicenter of all this firey mayhem. Renters insurance through Geico was $20/mon for $20k with a slight discount on our auto insurance, as well. Good deal, IMO
