Lobster place wants to turn itself into a building with elevators

NorthEndWaterfront.com reports on a recent BRA planning meeting at which an architect for the Hook family discussed how it would like to build some sort of tower on the current property - with the lobster place staying in the first floor.

The lobsters can't just take the stairs?
Hope they can keep the seafood store - not a frequent customer, but always appreciate the convenience and quality.
Have driven by there many times and wondered out loud when this day would come.

Northern Avenue Bridge is going away in five years?
That's sad to hear. According to the article it only has a single sidewalk so I suppose it's for the best. I always had fond memories of seeing the cool historic structures in the area. I guess they are potentially keeping the closed bridge next to it intact.
