An out-of-town woman who says she flew into Boston to scout out a location for a new business made the mistake of agreeing to stay with some dude she met at the hotel and wound up being forced at gunpoint to give him her money, Boston Police report.
... The victim reported that after staying with the suspect for a couple of days, he brandished a firearm and demanded money of her for her stay at his house. The victim stated that she became very frightened after the suspect showed her the gun and demanded money from her and called 911. ...
Christopher McGrail, of 59 Brooks St., was arrested and charged with kidnapping and two counts of illegal firearms possession. Police also charged him with drug offenses - they say the found several bags of heroin and marijuana plants.
Earlier on Sunday, police responding to a breaking-and-entering report at 78 Bowdoin St. in Dorchester lost track of the suspect. A police dog quickly sniffed him out - wedged inside a rolled up rug.
Finally, last night, police working the Bruins game arrested a Scituate resident who apparently didn't find the game exciting enough:
Officers were informed that the noted individual had been observed reaching into his pants with his hands and manipulating his hands inside his pants. According to event staff and event guests, the suspect then exposed himself and started urinating on event guests causing then to become hysterical and attempt to escape from the confined area.

Yeeaaaaah, that's not kidnapping when you stay at someone's house for a couple of days. And apparently she was OK with a considerable amount of drugs on the premises? And someone just points a gun at you but then leaves the apartment to let you make a phone call?
$20 says there's a lot more to the story and she's not fessing up.

Exactly what sort of business she was hoping to set up, so yes, it doesn't seem like 2+2 is equaling 4 here, but no, that's no excuse for pointing a gun at somebody. Also, she didn't leave the apartment to make the call - they found her in a bedroom (under some pot plants).

If he restrained her from leaving, regardless of whether she was involved in the drugs, that's kidnapping.

Some people have no class. You'd think a middle aged man wouldn't need a diaper. Or remedial potty training.
