This accident scene was cleared more quickly than many, relieving what can make a big nightmare for commuters each minute closure lasts. The federal DOT has been encouraging faster accident clean ups for a while and in the past year local trainings have been given.

Both directions of 93 were moving at full speed when I biked along the river path adjacent to the highway. One of those times it would have been faster in a car than on a bicycle from South Boston to Medford.

like is done in other countries.
Many patrol cars carry big sheets/tarps that prevent the "whats that" rubberneck effect and the ensuing traffic on the other side of the highway. And also on the accident side of the highway.
Why not do it here! Cheap, simple, and would save many people so much time.
Holy Shit

I want that so bad. Please, can we have? I can't count the number of times I've spent half an hour or more moving just one mile for an accident on the other side of the highway.
stop. posting. illegally. taken. photos.

Adam, how many times do we have to ask that you stop encouraging/rewarding people breaking state law on cell phone use?
PUT DOWN THE PHONE AND DRIVE, people.
Why do you keep assuming they're actually moving?

93 was backed up for miles in both directions. I'm sure he was stopped when he took the photo.
But you're right - drivers shouldn't be taking photos when they're actually driving.
