Obviously, even after all this time, I have yet to get used to the way even small Roslindale streets are often called "avenues."

Yeah, that house is something (some of the neighbors now seem to compete for the largest Christmas electric bill). Add in the views of downtown at night near that house, the Vermont-like mountain view at Poplar, the Fox house and, of course, the thrill of walking across the Amtrak pedestrian bridge into Hyde Park without getting mugged.
