America's Ignorant Callous People: One is a Tea Party Republican

A young man named Mike Brown was shot six times and killed by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer named Darren Wilson. What started as jaywalking at 12:02 p.m. on a Saturday in August, ended as a homicide a minute later.

The community was outraged and has been protesting in the belief that Mike Brown eventually submitted to Officer Wilson after a scuffle through the car window and Mike running for his life, and that the fatal shot was an unjustified use of lethal force. Five eyewitnesses have come forward and said as much in testimony that is largely consistent. The protestors chant "Hands Up, Don't Shoot!" and ask "Am I Next?"

From 2006 to 2012 a white police officer killed a black person at least two times a week in this country.

In the above tweet, our ignorant callous tea party republican friend took the opportunity to express not just a disregard but maliciousness intent for the man in the photo, while perpetuating the myth welfare is for black people. In fact, 38.8% of welfare recipients are white, and 39.8% are black. And for all our tea billy friend knows the guy in the photo works two jobs, not that the validity of his concern about dying in an encounter with a police officer pivots on his employment status.

Finally, George Bush left the US economy in ruins for Barack Obama and the Republican party did everything it could to stand in the way of economic initiatives that would improve the number and quality of jobs. The GOP's #1 objective was to make President Obama a one-term president and their means was to give him no legislative success. They accomplished the latter not the former, at the expense of all Americans.
