If he resigns, does he lose health care? That would be a good reason not to leave for the time being.

I'm glad, for Susan's sake, that he is checked in. This has been so tough on her, and I don't think it is fair to her to have to watch him 24/7 so he doesn't mess up more people.

Remember, for a State House employee it's all about
the pension. If he resigns now, his pension is calculated
based on a June 2008 termination.

If he doesn't run but remains "in office" then his
pension is based on a January, 2009 termination--when
his replacement is inaugurated.

Whatever illness he's suffering from doesn't seem
to have affected his ability to read a calendar and
perform elementary math.

The fact that you have expressed concern for his enabler and his health insurance (but NOT his victims) speaks volumes.

I'd be interested in hearing how you think his wife enabled him to become a pervy groper. What, did she cheer him on? "Okay, see you later honey, have fun groping!"

obviously, in her failure to be adequately hot, she drove him to it.

that I believe with this post SG is primarily showing concern for the level of discourse around here.

Callously forgoing the shout-out to victims everywhere, I am going to back her on this point.
