Rightwing bloggers call for William Delahunt's head
By adamg on Sat, 06/28/2008 - 8:51pm
Or if not his head, at least formal censure. At issue: What he said to the vice president's chief of staff about al Queda: Did he say he was glad al Queda could see what the guy looked like?
Bostonmaggie, a Delahunt constituent, agrees:
... I love where I live. I couldn't live elsewhere. But there is a price to be paid and having this asshat for a Congressional representative is part of that price.

Silly wing-nuts, recriminations are for kids
They can rightly blame Bush for not allowing Addington to claim Executive Privilege. (Ahem, why Miers and not Addington?)
Delahunt didn't put Addington on C-SPAN, the oversight committee did. Moreover, Bush didn't stand in their way and could have.
Delahunt was just poking Addinton with a stick because he knows Addington, like Cheney, prefers to work in the shadows.
Seems like Bush might have a hair across his ass about Addington. I wonder if it's because Addington fingered Bush with three pieces of evidence tying Bush to the torture policy.
They have a point
Why should we go after the administration for their actions when we can go after this guy for 1 flippant phrase?
I hate what our country's politics has become.
Delahunt
Bill Delahunt has been a disgrace to every office he has ever held. Fact.
Source please
Source please. How about substantiating facts?
Can bloggers learn to write?
There are some blogs which are just unendurable to read, and Pat Dollard's is one from the first sentence.
Dollard says it's "boo-hooing" to object to the public disclosure of CIA agents. He doesn't explain why the people who take that position are "fucking people," he just relies on his invective to make the point.
Later on, he declares, "Blogs on the left regularly feature vulgar diatribes against the right. Some on the right do the same." Dollard's lack of self-awareness is really sad.
I haven't even gotten to the substantive fallacies in his post. That would take a much longer reply. But it's clear from the outset that those don't matter; he just hopes to overwhelm the reader with a wave of hostility.
so cute it's sad

Oh, he's fully aware of things, all right. This is just an adorable little FAILED attempt at spin.
Well, these right wingers
Well, these right wingers have to bloviate and blow off some steam since there is very little they can do to stop the Obama Express.
They can go to Del
and ahunt for it.
preferred red state posture
That's right Swrrly, that's the preferred red state posture, we've victims, let's get them.
How cares have you seen with W sticker or W 04 on the back of it? I think people have pretty much taken those off. Four more years! Four more years.
Yawn.
Yawn.
Don't mock the government!
Wait, people are suggesting he was inciting violence? He was ripping Addington's refusal to be accountable to the American people. Addington was the one who was saying that the terrorists watch C-SPAN. Addington insulted the notion of a free and open government and Delahunt just ribbed him over that by using Addington's own excuse. He was mocking Addington, not threatening him. But I guess mocking those who want to conduct Democracy behind closed doors is high treason in these United States.
