Ray Rice was suspended indefinitely (until an arbiter overturned it). Meanwhile, Suggs (he of the bleach tossing at his wife incident and dragging her behind a car) never even paid a fine.
The NFL's penalty for non-game infractions has never been consistent or fair. Everything Belichick was doing with the video cameras was legal...except that he had the videographer in the wrong place in the stands.
