Unassuming Roslindale Square intersection becomes truck, bus killer after snowstorms

Roslindale Square is actually the world's most misshapen rotary, and the toughest part to navigate on a good day is the short stretch from South to Belgrade to Corinth.
And after big snowstorms deposit giant white bumpers, buses and trucks have particular problems getting onto a Corinth Street made even narrower by its own snow and cars parked on both sides. Many, in fact, can't make it, getting stuck and jamming up traffic from all directions until police arrive to halt traffic so the driver can slowly back up and either try again or just give up and go down Belgrade.
A roving UHub photographer captured the fun around 9:45 a.m., when a truck driver learned why the turn is such a bad idea. It didn't help that after getting out of the cab, the driver found himself locked out.
Ed. note: That odd thing that appears to be on the trailer's roof is actually Roslindale Square mobile paean to the motorized vehicle. It has scoops to catch the wind and spin around in a big circle, sort of like the Square itself.

Why is it going the wrong way
Why is it going the wrong way on Corinth Street? Did they have to turn it around, or did it make a wrong turn after delivering to Village Market?
I saw this truck coming up Belgrade, which is also too narrow for traffic, and is also two-way, unlike the streets in Rozzy Sq. It had a short standoff with an oncoming truck around 10:00 before they somehow squeezed around the cars parked on both sides.
It's going the right way
At least according to the law.
It looks like it came up South Street, turned onto Belgrade (as we all do), then tried to hang that left onto Corinth that is the bane of buses and trucks.
Blocked intersections all over the city
Gotta wonder how many ambulances have been delayed or diverted.

Or maybe this city wasn't designed for 18 wheelers
They can barely make these turns in the summer without running over sidewalks, illegally turning or even killing people.
This is when the district
This is when the district councillor for Roslindale should get on the phone with the BTD director, and find out when the square is scheduled for snowbank removal.
I think it's happening
Took a taxi back from Logan last night around 8:3pm and as we passed by the square near Belgrade we saw some bucket loaders putting snow into dump trucks
District councillor? Rosi doesn't have one.
Roslindale is the largest Boston neighborhood without its own councillor - we're split between districts 5 and 6. You'd think that'd mean we get twice the attention, but often...not so much.
Some of Rosi Sq have been dealt with - the lanes imediately around Adams Park are clear, but other parts - much of Belgrade and upper Corinth - are still a mess.
The bus stops
The bus stops are a freaking mess. The Belgrade at Robert stop is totally inaccessible when exiting the bus, you have to walk in the street. Which, of course, is what they tell us not to do.
Snow in front of Roslindale Schools
It took some phone call yesterday morning by parents and concerned others to get the banks removed in front of the Sumner School on Basile Street. No one cared that over 200 kids were jumping out of buses onto huge banks. Very scary. Before schools are allowed to reopen after a storm, streets by schools should be totally clear of banks.
