The city that gave us Wicked Free WiFi and set up pahk.boston.gov for downloading a parking-meter app is getting a bit tired of calling the Boston Arts Festival the Boston Ahts Festival.
The Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture is running a contest to find a new name for the annual celebration in Christopher Columbus Park.
The new name should reflect the dynamic arts scene in the City of Boston, and the diverse set of offerings at the festival.
The author of the winning name gets a $250 Blick art-supply gift certificate.

The person who decided to call it "ahts" obviously doesn't care whether outsiders take Boston seriously. The city in general has a problem with this attitude.

Think John Kerry, not Southie.

SNL's skits showcasing the accent was the best thing that ever happened to Boston - what's the problem?
