Top BPS officials asked to resign to make way for new superintendent

David Bernstein reports interim School Superintendent John McDonough has asked 15 BPS administrators to tender their resignations so that incoming Superintendent Tommy Chang has a clean slate with which to start his administration.

Chang officially starts in July, although he has been spending time in Boston working with McDonough to get ready for his new job.

Sounds like Mr. Chang said we will do this my way or the system can keep failing without him.

When Dr. Johnson was SI, there was always talk of the powers that be undermining her efforts to effectively improve BPS.

Let see if the dead weight goes quietly.

Now to excess the highly qualified, yet ineffective, apathetic teachers.
