Excuse me, but where do I get the Sixth Avenue local?

... is the complete lack of consistency in Massachusetts. The "do not block intersection" signs are not big enough and the boxes are not used frequently enough that people have a crystal clear understanding of their meaning. And, some people are also just idiots. The number of times I see cars pull into a crosswalk - despite the clear stop line in most cases - is astonishing. Perhaps adding some painted "stop here" or "wait here" coupled with "keep clear" in actual intersections and some actual enforcement (instead of useless construction detail) would help a lot.

Say what you will about California's traffic, but at the very least everyone knows there not to block an intersection (because of all of the aforementioned tactics used to educate the driving public).

Also I think New York abandoned the point penalty but has authorized parking enforcement to issue tickets since the "block the box" is no longer considered a moving violation but rather like a parking violation. Would be a boon for BTD!

Actually it doesnt work in NYC. They no longer enforce that or the honking law.
